Welcome to the River of Lakes Heritage Corridor, a destination well within reach but pleasantly removed from the hectic, grab-and-go pace of everyday life. Following the lazy flow of the St. Johns River, the Corridor has preserved a time, lifestyle and natural setting many have forgotten 'if they were fortunate enough to ever know it at all'. Here, Florida history and tradition live on, refreshed by a love for nature that guides the measured growth of the region.

An ongoing commitment to honoring the best of small town, natural Florida – that’s what the River of Lakes Heritage Corridor means to those who call it home. For those who visit, it means a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore our many charming communities and enjoy outdoor adventure, Florida history, and heritage. So start exploring! It's all about getting away, just the way you'd like.

VISITOR CENTER NOW OPEN! Stop by our Visitor Center in Downtown DeLand for complete tourist information for West Volusia County.
